100 Movies in 100 Days: Day 62 – Quantum of Solace
April 30, 2009I have to admit I’m a fan of Bond films, with or without the cheese. Although I do have to say that the last two have been rather lean in the dairy area. I didn’t get a chance to see Quantum of Solace in the theater so I had to Netflix it (all hail Netflix). So got the Blu Ray in popped it in and well….. it’s worth watching. Besides a few fights scenes where there doesn’t seem to be a stable camera in the world it’s really put together well. Daniel Craig does well as Bond but better than that he does a good job developing the character. It does help when this is probably the closest thing any Bond movie has had to a sequel. I do like the throwback reference to Goldfinger and how could you not want all those touch screen computers in one room. If you’re a fan of Bond or spy movies in general you won’t be disapointed with this one.
